Hi! My name is Sofia Daniel, but everyone calls me Sofie! I grew up on Long Island in Syosset, New York. I started becoming super interested in performing and theatre when I was seven years old after seeing my first and now favorite Broadway show, Wicked, and my life has been devoted to my craft ever since. I am a singer, actor, dancer, and I also have an interest in and love for directing.

I attend the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music to receive my B.F.A in musical theatre. I am currently in my second year and have never been happier. At the conservatory, I can pursue my love for theatre and performance, which makes me feel so grateful and fulfilled.

Some of my favorite theatre roles and shows have been the following: Paulette in Legally Blonde, Miss Scarlet in Clue: The Play, Ensemble in Chicago The Musical, and Kate in Legally Blonde. I have also directed two shows, a One Act called When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors and the other 13 The Musical!

This summer, I intend to be a teaching assistant for A Class Act New York’s Bound for Broadway one-week programs. I am beyond excited to share my love of theatre with children and work with many talented Broadway actors, music directors, stage managers, and more.

I also will be continuing my job as a swim instructor at Long Island Swim School where I will be a supervisor/stroke clinic teacher. I used to swim when I was in middle school and high school so being able to continue to teach something I love makes me feel so fulfilled.

Aside from theatre, I love to bake, hang out with family and friends, read books, and do my makeup.
